”The Starboard Pure Acid went through extensive research and development and extreme testing before hitting the market. The board has a precise goal: to deliver intense power and speed and take wave riding to whole new levels.

The board is really aggressive and dynamic and it is targeted towards the experienced hardcore riders. A narrower and more compact shape makes the board run at impressive speeds in side shore and on shore waters. The slightly lifted tip makes the board very powerful and permits the rider to tackle any type of wave. Starboard has used a fast rocker line and a spiraled V design to make sure that the Pure Acid is one of the fastest wave boards today. Although the Pure Acid is not extremely wide, the volume is proportionally distributed and to create extra floatability and increase stability. The board has perfect grip, and the fast rocker and rails provide enhanced acceleration and top speed. The board is also engineered to deliver high traction while minimizing drag and water friction. The result is a perfect smooth glide. Out on the water the board is very agile and rotates and turns at a fast speed. The mix of power and maneuverability makes the Starboard Pure Acid not only a great wave riding board, but also a perfect freestyle and freeride platform.
